Great Video!. Actually you were close. What needs to be done is to erase the codes in the WIN/SKREEM/SKIM etc. and in the PCM. And leave the key off for a minute or two. I always leave it off for over three minutes. And then leave it on for about three minutes, then erase the codes again in the SKIM/ Wireless node. You can also disconnect the battery too. And the flashing light will go away. Just change the VIN in the PCM menu. No need for pin. I've done plenty of these this way.

Hi Guys , Does the Obd Star 706 write to brand new Blank OEM Units

The Software with a patch works great. The VNCI device on the other hand is absolutely trash definitely not up to par with doing module updates. Using the provided device has cost me an engine computer and a body controller. Is my device defective ?? Sure seems like it. But can't seem to get any answers over email. You would be better off buying a clone Vcm 2 much more stable than this device by far.

Great instructions. I'm having a problem following along on a 2015 F-150 using the VMCI VCM3. After starting the Program Module Installation and clicking OK at the turn switch on prompt (switch still off), it runs through the checking network for a bit then drops back to the menu where you select Programmable Module again. Any suggestions?
